Through my installation work, I seek to explore human relations and their social context by means of sound. I also try to imagine how sound waves travel through the physical space in order to reach the viewer. It’s a subtle type of invasion of privacy – through sound.

In my work, narrative, sound and aural architecture can be addressed as signifiers of both personal and public spaces. In this process, space represents sound as something visible, and sound represents space as something audible. By creating compositions that re-arrange pre-recorded or generated sounds, my installations engage the viewer in a conceptual and musical discourse, which emphasizes aural privacy and our aesthetic sense of space.
